Magnetic Motorsports header tank gaskets to suit early model Subaru alloy expansion tanks. Previously, once the lid was removed from the tank, owners were left with having to re-use the original seal and use silicon/sealant when resealing the tank due to the gasket not being available as a replaceable part. As a result, Magnetic Motorsports made those gaskets available to the market.
The gaskets have been thoroughly tested with zero issues. Upon installation, the seal might appear to sit proud of the tank. Please tighten completely till the lid meets the tank. This will allow the seal to compress completely in the channel.
